Hyundai made waves recently when they announced that the upcoming 2017 Hyundai Elantra Sport would arrive at Hyundai dealerships as early as late this year, after its stellar debut at the 2016 SEMA Show.
The new Elantra Sport model is based on the 2017 Elantra sedan, though the Sport variant rocks a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine, producing up to an estimated 200 horsepower.
Official pricing has not been announced for the model – which has been described as a model for “performance enthusiasts” – nor has its exact release date, but it’s safe to assume that such information must be on its way shortly.
